Built Right Here.
Born on a farm in Crozet, Virginia, Sieg began from a love of music and a belief that speakers could be meaningful and alive. Some things you buy are best the day you buy them and go downhill from there. I wanted to make speakers that would get better every day you owned them.
It started with turning a hay barn into a workshop. After moving out the resident raccoons and pigeons, I set to cutting out doors and windows, wiring and insulating it, poring through Craigslist for spare tools and materials, until a new space took shape.
This barn that still gets visited daily by cows and sheep now offers a refuge for making things by hand. I try to leave no detail unconsidered, no extra effort unmade. I want to build things that last and that feel deeply good to the people who own them.
